Farmers in Thanh Phu District cultivate three rice crops annually: the main crop, the summer-autumn crop, and the autumn-winter crop. During the dry season, the rice fields are used for brackish water shrimp farming, while in the rainy season, they are planted with rice and integrated with aquaculture. In the sandy area of Thanh Phu, watermelon is the dominant crop, along with soybean, mung bean, peanuts, cassava, and areas for nurturing clam and shrimp seedlings. In 2022, Thanh Phu had 390 hectares of four-season mango; 3,500 hectares of intensive shrimp farming, and harvested 180 tons of clams.

Implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, the district now boasts 14 OCOP products, including three 4-star products and eleven 3-star products. Huynh Phu Ancient House is one of the most beautiful and unique wooden architectural sculptures in the Southwest region. The cemetery, located 3km from the ancient house in Phu Khanh commune, was built in 1911 to prepare for the burial of Mr. and Mrs. Huynh Ngoc Khiem. On April 14, 2011, the Huynh Phu ancient house (Dai Dien commune) and the ancient tomb (Phu Khanh commune) were recognized as national architectural art monuments.

The Northern-Southern Weapon Reception Bridge Monument was invested in and built by the Navy Command at Vam Khau Bang, facing the East Sea. This is an important historical site in the resistance war for the liberation of the South, attracting visitors to explore and learn about its history.

An Qui Communal House, located in An Qui Commune, is the site of the first meeting of the An Qui Commune Party Committee. It is also where Mr. Dong Van Cong recruited new soldiers and held intensive training classes for Regiment 99 in the 1940s.

Tourists can explore mangrove forests along the coast, observe birds, participate in boat tours along the Ham Luong and Co Chien rivers, and learn about the unique flora and fauna of the region.

Culinary Tourism: Visitors can enjoy local specialties prepared from fresh ingredients and participate in cooking classes to learn about the local culinary heritage.
